The study of fundamental design concepts and elements as they are applied to digital media.

GOALS OF THE COURSE
1. To introduce students to various forms of digital media, including animation, interactive media (CD, DVD, and Web) and video;
2. To teach students to conceptualize and storyboard the various formats of digital media;
3. To familiarize students with the technical and creative aspects of digital media;
4. To reinforce and build upon student knowledge of developing basic design concepts, including drawing, color, typography, concept development, writing, and public speaking;
5. To teach fundamental presentation skills.
